I am having an awful time with the speed forum topics are opening the past few days.    It has slowed to minutes, not seconds.  Most times I have to hit the stop button and refresh, because the page seems to stall. Is anyone else having trouble..  Any tips on how to speed things up?

I am using IE 6.0 for a browser.

 camCam,

You noticed. I am sitting right on the web and it is the same for me. At first I though it was the network I support but looking into it ,it was not. At times I write a post and look  at the preview and it never comes back.  Hey Steve, something may be wrong!!!

camI ve had nothing but very fast response.

There are a number of things on your own PC that could make it slow.  All of the ones I can think of would make all web pages slow.

camI had the same trouble, or at least as I understand what you re saying.  I would make a post or a reply, submit it, and then it would seem like ages before the loading stopped, and sometimes all I got was a blank page.  Would then reload or " stop loading"  and then reload in order to get anything.  All of that and I m on cable and used to getting things loaded instantly or 2 or 3 seconds at the most.  Then I switched from Netscape 4.1 to 6.1 and everything changed and seems to be working perfectly.     Could your browser be your problem?  Might check it out as this forum software is definitely not friendly to all browsers.

I might add that when using Netscape 4.1 even the colors on the forum pages were different (puke green letters on a black background and very hard to read!) and half the stuff didn t even show up at all.  Bummer!

camI m flying.  No complaints here.
