I think the perfect pop-up starts out with an actual empty weight of about 100 lbs., but with a GVWR of 5,000 lbs.  That way, you could put anything in it.

Next, it should be self-steering, so that it anticipates where the driver wants to back it in, and it goes there by itself.

I have a bunch of other ideas, but I d like to hear from others.

 Austin

AustinBostonA fridge that lights itself and that can be accessed from inside or outside the PU even when the top is down.
A stove that boils water whether the wind is blowing or not.
A built in pottie with a tank that can be accessed from outside so that it can be dumped on the way out instead of trying to remember before popping down.
 Enough for now. [:)]

AustinBostonI m looking for a pop up that will pack and unpack by itself.  It would be nice if it could also put the bikes on and off the roof.  That would leave me more time to sit back, relax, and enjoy the kids.[:)]

AustinBostonI like the idea of self steering,
 how about self hitching too?

A refrigerator that cools down in about 10 minutes tops.

A floor that is self vacuuming/cleaning.

A door that closes automatically yet has sensors stopping it if a body or body part is in the way so little fingers are protected.

AustinBostonSheeesh, you guys are forgetting the most important thing :

 IT MUST BE FREE !!!!!

AustinBostonIt should have a rear bumper that flips over, with at least four sides.

Then we can put one PU message board bumpersticker on each side.

Then just decide what PU message board is in fashion that week and display their sticker.

Or leave one side empty, when your in the mood for no stickers.

[:D]I have that in my cassette potty.

It would dry instantly when popping down and never need to be washed.

AustinBostonHave 2 King Beds with comfortable mattress tops that makes itself.[:D]

AustinBostonJust a few that immediately come to mind:

The tenting would be reflective to keep down the heat.  The door would be self-closing without slamming.  The cushions would all fit under the dinette (the dinette would need to be wider or taller).

4campinfoxes

AustinBostonA door system that keeps out all all those little bugs.

Really useful, effecient storage - already equipped with shelves, bins, whatever you want.

A battery that never needs charging.

Now I d better stop before I really get on a roll....[:)]

 Gotta be camping time soon!!!

AustinBostonI have the built in pottie that empties from the outside too..... but I would like a skylight over the bunk with a close-able curtain.
