TheWallRocksA man was playing his trombone next to us when we were camping in New Mexico.  It was midafternoon and the lots were enormous so it did not bother us. I have been thinking about buying some opera music to play loudly when we have neighbors who think that their loud music will not bother us.

TheWallRocksOnw time we heard a voilin playing quite a few sites away.  It was beautiful!  It echoed through the woods gently and it sure didn t bother us!  However, when it comes to radios I think the only time they should be on is when your leaving/coming in the car

TheWallRocksOkay, is it the loudness or the type of music that is more offensive to some?

I was at a campground where a guy in a tt was playing country and western on a radio sitting on the hood of his tow vehicle.  The music was rather loud but not that offensive and it was in the daytime.

The camper on the next site came over and asked him to turn it off stating that he had heard enough of the guy s country and western music for the last two hours.
Quite an arguement ensued but the radio was turned off.

I later had a casual conversation with the other camper.  Seems like he can t stand country and western music.

TheWallRocksPaintball guns, set on full auto, with 200 rd hoppers might also discourage folks from camping near you...
