RE: Stone Mountain GA

Has anyone ever camped here?  We re thinking of camping in GA, near the Atlanta area.  Six Flags is appeaing to my kids, as is the water park.  Stone Mountain sounds like the idea place, but I  d like to hear from someone who s actually been there or knows someone who has.  Thanks.

We enjoyed the attractions at Stone Mtn. but it did not leave much time to fellowship.

We were also considering a trip to Stone Mtn.  and clicked on your web page....  It was interesting to read of your trials and tribulations, However; it really didn t say anything about Stone Mountian.  How about filling us in a little.

Sorry their web site is really good www.stonemountainpark.com I think.  It is a super place. We had the group trip there and with all there was to do it left little time to do the Group thing.  They have an old town area, Train ride is really a bumpy ride, the tram car to the top was super You can hike to the top if you are brave.  The View of Atlanta is worth the trip its awsome! The Crossroads is a super area with a 4D theater and The Great Barn indoor interactive playground that even us adults enjoyed. The Laser show was super!  felt very safe in the park lots of securty.  I am not much of a writer sorry.  At the campground they seperate the tents and Pop UPs from the Big guys TT, 5th wheelers, Class A s. Which is ok for us.
