We re at it again!

Not a week after the VLR May rally, and we ve got ourselves a mini rally!

What: A mini rally!
Where: Vail Lakes Resort, Temecula, California (877) 999-VAIL
When: June 6-8, 2003 (other nights optional)
Who: So far, OC Camper, gsm x2 and G-Whiz, MrFlinders, and Griffsmom. If your name isn t on the list, why don t cha come on down?
Why: Because we can!

I was wondering if we should start a post on the Halloween campout in October and decide which weekend to try for. My suggestion is one of the first 2 weekends . I told Randy I would try to wagonmaster the rally but I would only handle the reservatons. I was hoping someone else would handle the rest of the goodies like the potluck and side things.

Wait, the VLR guy gave me the info on who was where (I didn t ask, he volunteered when I said we were joining friends and wanted the next spot), but he didn t mention Scott and Georgeanne. Are you guys in 22? I wanted that one and it was gone already.

We opted for " close to the restroom" and didn t mention our affiliation when we made our reservations. So what site did you get? I m feeling luck that we got near to each other even if we can t all line up perfectly.

Super exciting. OK, here s the good news/bad news situation.

Good news: We are coming up on Thursday so we ll be there to photograph everyone setting up.

Bad news: I cannot get off on work on Sunday, so we ll have to leave Saturday.

Good news: We don t have to be home early on Saturday, so we re going to hang around for dinner, whatever that may be.

OC CampersHey all!

If Tamara gets her cooking table in time (I think she will) - she will be making something in the DO. Not sure yet. Most likely from Moose & Moosette s Recipe CD s. Once she figures it out - we ll post it.

She made Moose s Peach Cobbler in the DO & cooked it in the oven & it was great [

It sounds like a Dutch Oven potluck could be very possible---and should guarentee that we meet our " way to much food" standard.

Since we don t have a dutch oven, we ll probably bring a salad.

griffsmomA dutch oven potluck? Hmmm... We have one but will only be using it the first time this weekend to make Mooses peach cobbler. I will have to look for an easy recipe that we could do, like beef stew or something of the like.
