Has anyone stayed at this farm.  We are taking our 7 and 4 year old for Memorial Day weekend.  We usually stay in State Camp grounds but ater staying a week at Hickory State Park during Easeter break we feel we owe them since we took showers in a unheated bathroom while snowing and we were the only people in the park during the week.

I am upset because they are charging us 40.00 per night with no electric or water.  THey had one site available right next to the bathroom and we rejected this site of course. I find it hard to believe they can charge the same price for a non-electric site but I guess they can do what they want especially on Memorial Day.

I will write a review when we get back. Anyone who has stayed here please let us know if you enjoyed the farm and what you did.

spiritAre you talking about Hickory Run SP in PA?

 spiritDear Tracy,

Good point, I should learn to say what I mean amd mean what I say.  Anyyway, no I do not mean Hickory State Park is not the park that charges 40.00 per night with   non-electric sites but the place we are going to for Memorial Day is charging us this price, TrippleBrook Farm Campground.  My message is confusing.  We are going to the farm because the die hard campers we are we stayed at Hickory Run State Park over Easter and the weather was horrendous.  The kids did not complain at all so we are hopefully rewarding them with staying at this farm.  Sorry about the confusion.

 P.S.
We loved Hickory even with the bad weather!

spiritWe have camped at Hickory Run SP (PA) several times.  Too bad about the lack of heat in the bathroom.  If you had an electric heater you could have plugged it in at the bathroom.
