My DW bought me a indoor/outdoor thermometer for Christmas for the camper.  It has a wired senor that you are suppose to run outside and then stick the senor on to something.  Any suggestions on where to stick it (okay no vulgar jokes here!) and how to run the 4 foot wire to the readout that is inside the camper?  Once the senor is stuck, I don t want to have to take off every time we take down the camper.   Thanks!

BaysideBruceWell, until I dropped it in a bucket of water during my spring set up I had a similar thermometer.

I put velcro on the back of the digital read out and stuck it to the front of the top shelf on our vanity mate.  Then I just dropped the outside sensor out the top of the tenting zipper between the bunk end and side wall.  At the end of the trip, just pulled it back in and stored it in the sink.  Worked real well until the accident[&:]

I would think you could stick the sensor to the inside of the ABS roof, just outside of the tenting.  This way when you pop up the sensor is outside.

BaysideBruceI have one and we set it on the vanity mate and run the wire out side under the rear bunkend.  I run the wire out through the gap between the bunkend and the box where the rubber weather stripping ends.  I take the wire and run it to the center of the bunk end so the sun light (on the rare occasion it is sunny) can t hit it and cause a false reading.
