Hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  Ours was fine until our trip home from camping.

We went to Rocky Springs Campground, Mercer, PA.

What a nice campground, price is right too.

When we left the campground everything was great until 5 minutes later.  BOOM,
we were hit broadside going through an intersection-we had the green light.
2 of us w/minor injuries were taken by ambulance to Grove City Hospital.  All ok for now.

Towing vehicle, Dodge Dakota is pretty banged up in the front and right front.  Going to call to get fixed this week.  We drove it home, but looks terrible.  The camper looks ok, but thought better get it looked at too!  The hitch from the truck to the camper was bent/buckled pretty good.  We had a hard time disconnecting the camper from the truck when we got home.

Hope it gets fixed quick, we have a camping trip in June to Gettysburg, PA.  Not until June 28th.

The good Lord was watching out for us today!

 Happy Camping!

camper4packOh man, that s just horrible!!!  I m glad everyone is a.o.k. for now.  Did the other driver just not pay attention or was he/she drunk?  Any ideas?  I hope your camper is ok and hopefully you re insurance won t give you too much hassle with getting you a new vehicle.  It sounds like your truck is beyond repair, tho , they can do pretty amazing things these days.

 Just glad everyone s ok.

camper4packWow... at least the *important* stuff wasn t hurt too bad. Glad the fam will be OK. It only takes a second, and everything in your life can be changed by the actions of another.

As for your vehicles, body shops have lots of experience at telling what damage has been done to your truck. The same folks won t have a clue about your Utah. Have it taken to an authorized RV repair facility (Coleman dealer if possible) and gone through completely. Your warranty could also in jeopardy if something broke in the future and Coleman says it was due to the accident. Who knows how this could have tweaked the trailer s frame, if any propane fittings were knocked loose, or what stress the lifter system will incur the next time the top is raised. Just playing devil s advocate here.

Again, glad you and your family will be alright.

camper4packOuch!  Sorry for your accident but very glad no one was seriously injured.   Hope you and your vehicle are on the  mend  real soon so you make the trip you are looking forward to.  Sounds like one of those time you say  Thank you GOD, it could have been so much worse.

camper4packJust wanted to let you know that our truck was not totalled....cost is $3,000.00 to get fixed.  Should have it back by next weekend.

Our camper will be looked at once we get our TV back.

I am the only one still suffering from the accident.  Looks like I will be going into physical therapy soon.

 Thanks for all your responses.
