GaryWTWhat I d like to know is, how many of you that sleep with " hubby against the wall"  are Moms or woman??!!  My DH always makes sure he sleeps against the wall (even at home) so that if one of the kids wakes up - guess who s closest?  That s right - me!! [&:]  It s definately a conspiricy!

GaryWTPJay is against the wall because she is not going to risk/tolerate me climbing over her when the 2 am nature call occurs.

The last few trips we have been sleeping with our heads at the end we no one has to climb over any one to get in and out of bed.  But before that DH was against the wall because I was the one getting up with the baby and I m the one who gets up more in the night to use the potty.

At home he s the closest to the door but I m the one who hears the baby monitor and I m the one the kids come to if they get up (although mine rarely come into our room - they just yell and wake the whole house up!)

GaryWTDH is a shift worker so he is up and down all night. I have discovered it is sooo much easier to just let him sleep closest to the edge then have him crowl over me all night.
PS believe me that doesn t mean I  don t have to get up with the kiddos.

You just described us to a T!  LOL!![:D]

When camping, we still sleep with DH on the wall so that I can get up if our 2 y/o wakes up during the night, but we ve been thinking about changing to heads at the end.  Griffin doesn t wake up that much anymore at night and it s hard to remain asleep when a 6 5" , ~230 lb. sleepy giant crawls over you to heed the call in the middle of the night![:o][;)]

At home, I can stay farther away from the door because the monitor is on my nightstand. [:)]
