Just had to share this.  Today on my way home from work, I saw a site I couldn t believe.  A new 2003 Volkswagon Beatle convertible pulling a Palimino PU, 10 foot box I believe.  Any thoughts on this?  The darn PU was bigger than the car.  Some people have no sense on safty.  [:@]

Starcraft DadSo I guess my Chevy Metro would pull a pop-up! [8D]

Not something I would want to try!

This is what I call a self-correcting situation.  It will correct itself.  Hopefully, it will correct itself before someone gets hurt.

Starcraft DadA couple years ago I noticed a PU in the campground that had a slide-out.
Don t know how big it was but it was big enough to have a slide-out.

On the campsite was parked a Ford Escort Wagon, At the time I also owned that same model car. So I was curious how they got the PU to the CG. I figured nobody would be dumb enough to tow something like that with a 1.6 liter 4 cyl.

One the way home guess what passed us on the road, yepp the escort was loaded to the ceiling and packed with people and towing that PU. Plus it just flew past us on the highway. I know I m not the fastest driver, but he was flying.

I m going back to that CG in a week and a half so maybe I ll see them again. [:D]
This time I ll take a picture. But I bet that car isn t running anymore, but neither is my escort.[: (]
