Finally opened up the PU today after all the rain over the last few weeks. Prior to opening it I washed it... Pollen and rain really make it gross!

When I opened it there was a water spot on the bunkend. It seems that somehow water had gotten into the AC unit and dripped down onto the bunkend. The water was gathering inside the cover, where the switches are. When I take the cover off I can see the gasket from the inside all around except where the control panel is, next to the switches. I just installed it last year and the gasket looks fine... where I can see it.

BTW, while washing it, I must admit, I did spray alot of water under the unit to get the gunk out.

Has anyone ever taken the control panel off (all the wiring, etc, beside the switches) ? That way I should be able to see the rest of the gasket and see if that is where my problem is... or, should I take the whole unit off and start from scratch?

 Anyone ever had this problem?

 Thanks!
 Joe

PopUpPeepsYes, I had this problem.  I took the inside cover off and tighten the 4 bolts that secure the AC to the roof.  They were fairly loose.  This took care of my problem.  Haven t had another leak since.  Hope this helps...
