RE: WOOOHOOO!!! My first mod by me

For a long time I have wanted to get rid of the shelf that was on the cabinets in front of the sink and stove in the Niagara.  Someone had said that they had done it, and fixed it so if they sold it the shelf could be re-attached.
 
 I spoke to my DH and father about doing it, but they never did.  Today I bought some of the sterilite drawers that I wanted to put there, so I looked into the job myself.  Well what do you know, I think I can do this[]  
 
 So I got an adjustable wrench, a socket wrench, and a flashlight.  After taking out the drawer, I started to work.  Lying carefully on the floor I took the socket wrench and started loosening the first nut.  After that was off, I started on the second one.  Next I removed the shelf and put the nuts back on the screws so I would not lose them.  
 
 So to sum it all up, five minutes after I started I had the shelf down and my new drawers in place.[]  Boy that was hard work, I hope my next project will be as successful as this one.[][][]  Don t ya just love it!!!!

 Only kidding. Good job! I m glad you were able to do it without damaging the trailer.....one of the things I always seem to end up doing. [][][]

NC when we did that to our Niagara I felt the same, gained a lot of space too.  Alas when I sold the camper it was nice to reattach but I think the new owners liked the idea of removing it too when I explained it to them.

We saw this mod in Julia s camper (thanks for the tour!), and it does give the Niagara owner much more storage space!
