As I recall I got this recipe from the old message board here at P.U.T [;)]
But it is worth sharing again!
1 pkg. Good Season Italian Dressing Mix
 3-4 chicken breast, raw, cubed
 1 stick butter
1 can Cream of Chicken soup
 ? c. cream cheese
Combine dressing, chicken and butter in crockpot. Cook for 4 hours on high, 6 hours on low. Take chicken out and add remaining ingredients, mixing well. Return chicken to crockpot and cook on high for « hour. Serve with noodles or rice.

joe2This is THE BEST.  I ve actually never made it while camping - but I loooooove in the crock pot at home!

joe2This is outstanding for skinless chicken. Keeps it moist.

joe2Thanks for the recipe....... we tried it this weekend and it was a huge hit.  The kids, who NEVER want to try anything new loved it.  The 6 year old wolfed down the left-overs today!

We need more crock pot recipes!  We spend every day camping at the beach, so it is nice to return back to the PU with dinner all ready to go.

joe2Tee-hee...I m the one that posted the recipe for this on the old message board!

I m sooo glad that you all are enjoying this as much as I have! :)  Crock pot cooking is the only way to cook when you are as busy as I am!

Plus, when you camp......you meet all kinds of people that way because they stop in to see what that wonderful smell is that you are cooking (happens every time I use this recipe!).

joe2I remember this from the old site too!!! We just got a large crock pot for christmas and I m gonna try this when we go camping over labor day!!!!! Thanks..it sounds soooo yummy

joe2YOu are really going to love this! :)

joe2We made this on our latest camping trip...it was great!

I was going to make it in a crock pot and let it cook while we played, but I forgot the crock pot. So, I boiled egg noodles in a pot and cooked the chicken and fixin s in a big skillet. When the egg noodles were done, I drained them, put them back into the pot and poured the chicken " stuff"  on top. Then, I added the cream cheese and let it melt...YUMMY!!

joe2That s good to know that you can fix it in a pan/skillet instead of the crockpot, If you want it faster.  :0

joe2We finally tried this and also just used a skillet on the stove and it worked out just fine.

The only complaint from the family was

 1.  NOT ENOUGH - so next time, I ll double
 2.  A little too thick -- would like me to add some water to thin down (has anyone thinned it down?)
