             Just wondering how Camp Jeep was.  Please tell us about it.

Hi Everyone!
 
 Camp Jeep 2003 was awesome but very HOT.  Someone said it was 110 on  Thursday but you can t prove it by us.  Friday was hot but not as bad and Saturday was beautiful.
 
 We did most of the activities but DH especially loved driving a new Rubicon Wrangler over their obstacle course.  DH and DD did the scuba tank mostly to get wet and cool off. (He s a certified diver with something like 375 logged dives.)  I enjoyed the cooking classes and the mini-concerts that they put on during lunch time.
 
 We went on a trail ride on Friday and had a blast.  We ve been off road a bunch so it wasn t that difficult for us, however others had trouble with a river crossing and one guy really buried his vehicle in mud.  Not just regualr mud but sticky, red clay mud.
 
 The grand finale concert was SmashMouth which DD loved.  I guess I m getting old as it seemed very loud to me.  The fireworks after the concert were beautiful.
 
 We camped at Montebello Camping Resort and it was great.  We reserved way back in I think February and got a lake front site.  The park host couldn t have been nicer as were the ladies in the store where they have wonderful chocolate chip cookies.
 
 I ll have DH post pictures when he has the right camera and lap top at home.
 
 Did anyone else from PUT go to Camp Jeep?
