Just before we left on our last PU weekend, DW turned on the fridge to get it cold and it didn t seem to work.  I looked at it and found no power.  The circuit breaker (a GFI) in the garage had popped.  I reset it and all was fine.  When we returned home, I plugged in the PU as always and left it.  A week later DW told me there was no power in the PU.  I found the GFI tripped again and it would not reset with the cord I was using for the trailer plugged in.  The cord is one of those self retracting extension cords.  I replaced it with a regular cord and still couldn t get 12Volt lights to work.  I just checked out the converter and I have no power at any of the fuses.  I am guessing I may have a connection problem on the converter end.  All my 110V outlets in the trailer are working.  The documentation that comes with the trailer is useless.   I have an extensive background in low voltage stuff and attempted to remove the converter.  There are four screws holding it in the cabinet.  Following the removal of the four screws I attemped to pull it out guessing there would be ample wire length to remove it.  Something on the left side of the converter prevented me from pulling it out.  I couldn t see in there to figure out what was in the way.  I replaced the screws to tackle the problem another time.  In the mean time, any comments?

PINot sure I can help you as I own a Jayco which has the converter mounted underneath one of the dinette benches. I can just unscrew that half of the bench top and get at the converter. Jayco said that there is an internal fuse in the converters they use. They indicated that it may be a 5A fuse and needs to be bumped up to a 7A, in an email to me. (See 12V problem on fix it threads for more info)
Good luck, these things are really frustrating!
