Actually the SPUT started in November and I just figured it out now.  Our last rally for NNC was at Mt. Madona.  The wife and baby stayed home so my packing up routine was a bit different this time as I did it by myself.

Anyway, I pulled the pop-up out of the garage this weekend and started setting up to do some cleaning.  I got the top cranked up, and the front bunk slid out and went to do the back bunk.  The problem was and here lies the SPUT, I could not find my bunk support poles anywhere!  My only guess is that I left them at Mt. Madona.  Yes, I know all you Coleman owners are saying " Ha, mine are attached and this would never happen" .   I called the Ranger station to see if they might have them but have not heard back yet.  Problem is that I m set to go camping this weekend.  I solved the problem though.  I went to Orchard Supply, purchased 10 feet of 3/4 electrical conduit and fashoned some new poles.  The are actually a little beefier than the old, but they are ugly.  If the Ranger does not have the poles, I guess I ll have to order some new ones.  Will my luck they probably don t sell poles individually and have to buy every pole for the entire trailer.

Nicks are attached to the bottom of our bunks, so i can t see that happening to us.  But we ve talked about those shepherd s poles that you put in the bunk ends.  We decided to always keep them under the mattress of each bunk end, so there would be no chance of losing them.  Could you have put them there?

NickBelive me I checked there.  Thats normally where I store them.  I checked everywhere in that trailer including the awning pole bags.
