Ok I am not kidding I have seen this done once on a cooking show a few years ago....
ok take a large turkey, in that you stuff a duck and in that a small chicken... they say the grease from the duck really keeps the chicken and turkey moist. I just dont know how long to cook it for?????

Ab Diver

jpreiserProbably depends on *how* you cook it, but since it s pretty much a solid chunk on meat once everything is stuffed together, wouldn t it be kinda like roasting a whole pig over a spit? Or maybe a luau type meal over buried coals?

SWAG: Maybe at least 4-5 hours at 350ΓΈ in the oven?

Sorry, that s not much help. [>:] But the only other time I ve heard of a recipe like that started with a whole camel, worked it s way down to quail s eggs, and took several days. [:o]

jpreiserI would get the time for doing a turkey based on the total weight from a cook book, i.e. xx minutes per lb.  Then, I would stick a thermometer into one of the inner birds, and stip cooking when it gets to the right temperature.

 Hope this helps,

jpreiserHow about turducken. I ve seen one on tv that was cooked inside of a hog in a roaster. Maybe a porkturducken.[;)]

jpreiserOkay, you asked for it, but be warned, this is an incredible amount of work if you do it the original way. Our 12 pounder took longer than 12 hours to cook last Christmas.

 Here are a few links.
