After careful scheduling and double checking when I got home for last week and this coming week I was able to figure out my hours and when I needed to work so I could go camping from July 17th-22nd.

Then Saturday my aunt is talking to my cousin...she can t go camping then because her husband can t schedule to get off work!! So the trip has been put off until the next weekend AARRGGHHH [:@][:@]

Now I have to figure out my schedule again to schedule around dates that I don t even know yet! The other schedule was great because it was at the end of a pay period. The next weekend is in the middle of a pay period.

Of course I could go ahead and go but then I would get into my hours for the next week.

This will likely be our last trip for the WHOLE family for the summer since school starts in August, not to mention the heat is awful then. (Like it isn t now [: (]) So I can t NOT go.

*SIGH* oh well could be worse, could NOT be camping at all [:D]

ShirleyTWhy wait for the rest of the family you and dd should go and enjoy it!![:D]

jpreiserThat would be great but only one problem...
My car won t pull the pontoon to the boat ramp, even if it did I don t know the first thing about unloading and loading the boat, then there is the small problem of me not knowing how to drive the boat...

So if I want to enjoy the lake to it s full benefit I must wait *SIGH*

ShirleyTWell, just go and camp !  You use the boat next week, if I were you I would go. There wa a possibility that we would go camping tomorrow but the board told my wife that she has to take a test to teach French . Well, Duuuuh, she has been teaching it for two years, they just figured it out that she needs a test. She finished a two year degree (part time)< so I am sure she will pass, but tomorrow she has to take the test. So no camping for us :( I hope we hook up with John, otherwise I will take the kids and harrass some people in Maine after two weeks !

ShirleyTOh Shirley, I do know what it means to have to make stupid changes to an important camping schedule.  I have to do that all the time because some people come in on the spur of a moment to look at properties.  I have to be sitting on " go"  all the time.  Luckily, when I get really stuck in a conflicting schedule, I can always get another agent in the office to fill in for me and I do the same for her so she can get a vacation.  I never knew how really important a vacation was until about 5 years ago when stress was getting to me.  Taking at least a week is best for recharging one s batteries, but a long weekend of camping does a lot for me, too.  By the way, backing the boat is not much different than a popup (only it s usually bigger. Unloading isn t bad, either if there s a nice boat ramp.  Yes, you can do it, but I understand if it isn t your boat and you don t have the right tow vehicle.)  Enjoy your camping whenever you get to and give us a report on the trip when you return.
