Okay, this is a dumb question, but the listing in the PUT store says " chock"
singular, so I don t know whether these things come in singles or in pairs.

I m planning on ordering Lynx levelers and chocks.  Do I need to order
one set of levelers and one set of chocks?  Or do I need to order one set
 for each tire?

Also, some people seem to want chocks fore and aft for each tire.  If I decide I want to go that route, do I need to order two sets of chocks or four?

Numerically confused here in Boulder Creek,

madroneFirst of all, there are no dumb questions!!

I would suggest just one set of levelers (10) and one of the stop n chocks plus 4 standard chocks from WalMart.

On level ground you will use the 4 standard chocks.

When leveling is needed, one stop n chock placed at the end of your Lynx levelers will stop you as you back up.  I on the other hand, I back up first then pull forward on the lynx/stop n chock.

Check out my [link=http://www.title-3.com/Level.htm]Leveling Your Pop Up Web Page[/link] for a description and photos of the Lynx & stop n chock at work.

madroneIt is a good idea to chock your wheels fore and aft.  It will keep the trailer more stable and less chance of the trailer running away.

madroneYou may want to look at the BAL leveler as an option also.  Level and chock in one unit(for one side).  Many of us use this device with excellent results.  Use the search function for threads on this subject.

madroneEven when you think you only need to chock one side of the tires, do both...... EVERY TIME.

I posted a SPUT a while back about being certain that the PU could only roll backwards, so I only chocked the rear of the tires.  Sure enough, when I unhooked the TV the PU rolled foreward and scratched up my bumper.

 Lesson learned.
