birolJust to provide an update, she can step on it more or less again. Thanks for all your concern ...... It will be a while before she is back to normal, but even this is acceptable ....

birolThings will be back to normal in no time.  You have to have that garage for the PU, so don t back down now.  What you have is called " buyer s remorse."   I see this frequently when people are buying property.  Something happens to set up a chain of " What if?"   After a few days it will all go away and the excitement of moving into a new home will take the place of the " emotions of buying"  that you are experiencing.  I remember the first home I bought and how all the little nagging questions came rushing through my head about whether I had done the right thing, how much more would it cost, was it the right house after all, would I be able to live there a long time, what would I need to decorate, where would I put certain pieces of furniture.  I could not remember certain parts of the floor plan, etc.  Now, when I take a listing, I try to include a reasonable floor plan with room dimensions and a list of features for the home.  That way the buyer has all the info he/she needs in the middle of the night.

I still think sometimes we shouldn t buy it, and then recalculate and don t see why we shouldn t. I guess as you said, once it (hopefully) becomes a done deal, I will start to get excited about it.
