Lake Murray Resort Park is outside of Ardmore, Oklahoma, off I35 (exit 24). They have a hotel, cabins and 8 different camping areas with a total of 450 campsites.

You can choose wooded sites, water sites, bare naked sites (no trees, like camping on a parking lot) and almost anything in between.  Bathrooms/showers were clean, flushed and had hot water!   Swimming and fishing is great in season (you may even get to see scuba divers getting their certification due to the crystal clear water), and they have a dirtbike/ATV area as well - with new (pay) showers.  There are also several nice paved paths to bike or hike, as well as many more natural paths.  We recommend you check out Tucker Tower and the hidden old stone homes near Buzzards Roost - great exploring!

We ve camped here twice and had a blast both times.  We even found a hidden area where the kids could follow animal tracks and play king of the mountain.  Only drawback for us was the lack of a playground.  But with all the natural wonders our mini-campers (3&6) did great and can t wait to go back.

CampinCrazyCC;  We were there about 25 years ago back when we were still tent camping.  Hadn t thought about going back until I saw your review here.  Sent for some info and having seen it, plus what you have said, convinces me that we need to make another trip up that way.  That park was nice 25 years ago.  Looks like they ve made it great.  Thanks for the " heads up" .
