I have a 1993 Jayco Eagle and the lift on one side seems to be broken it won t lift along with the rest (we had to go out and by a stick to put in to keep it up on a camping trip) when we went to fold it down that end won t go all the way down.  Any ideas on how we can fix this ourselves?  I appreicate any help!!

jackiejWe have a 2000 Jayco 12SO and was having the same problem.  DH and I removed all panels, a major pain, and checked out all pulleys.  One pulley in one corner was off the little wheel.  It seemed to help for a few test lifts, then it froze again.  Took it to the dealer and it was the main wench was pulling away from the wall and had to be re-bolted.  The main wench should be in the hole where you put your crank to crank up.  Shine a flash light and check that out.  The dealer just added a piece of wood between the wench and the pop-up wall and used long screw to screw it back tight.  I hope this helps.  Oh, my husband also used this number to call JAYCO and they helped him alot with suggestions.  574-825-5861.
