 Yesterday I dropped DS to a friend s of his house for a sleep over (He escaped from collecting the newspaper money from 62 houses, me and DD had to do it ![:@]).
 
 On the way back, I saw a Fleetwood PU, parked on a driveway. it was obviously not used much. IT WAS OBVIOUS THAT ITS OWNERS WAS NOT PROUD OF IT !!!
 
 I slowed down to take a peek and saw that it had a sign on it. I must be nutes. I stopped the car, backed  and looked at it carefully. it was for sale, a puny sign on it said so. Poor PU was just sittng there with its head hanging low. Obviously it wasn t washed/cleaned in a very long time, with dark streaks going down its sides, it was crying. Its only propane tank was angled 30 degrees to one side, showing the satete of neglect this poor thing was. Dirt all around, with tires hal deflated, it was screaming for a good house to take it home, wash him, clean him, polish him and make it the Happines bringer it was designed to be.
 
 I looked at it for maybe 5 minutes, and then drove away, feeling sad for it. I hope I don t see it there next time I drive by[>:]. it deserves to be used and cared for.

 birolBirol, It s kind of like going to the animal shelter, Don t make eye contact! If you do you re a goner. You may as well just stop now and make them an offer, at least see what they want???? Might be a fantastic deal......

I have lined up FFT-EMT & ACts 2:38 girls PU. When they are done for the season, it is a mine :) And I will know that it is a happy PU, wellc ared for. And lee made quite a fw mods on it which I like [:)]
 
 The one I saw was a 12  box, and even used, they cost an arm and a leg and an ear and a nose and a a a a a  ....  (hehehe) in Canada. They are very costly. Theirs, we will use our LOC and grab it and worry about paying later on.

There is this Viking 8 , sitting in front of a house day in and out. Maybe some of you remember, I was thinking of leaving a note. AT last, this year, for one day they hitched it up and went somewhere. I hope it was for camping and not for reapirs [>:][:o]

 Are they not already done for the season?
 Or are they going to make Angelina the youngest person ever, to go camping in a popup, and take her camping the first night home from the hospital[&:]

Lee is going out for a trip with his sons and giving Andrea a break [;)] He is heading to maine. Actually, if the timing works out, I could go there with the MOAT, and come back with the PU. This way we could also camp together for a few days. Looks like our meeting with John is not going to go thru, and I might have the finances in place for that .......

 birolYou know, Birol, after you get the pop-up you should keep MOAT so that the DS and DD can camp in it and have some freedom from the parental units!

 I think we are inclined to do that. It will also give everyone more space to roam around, sit/sleep etc. would we be allowed to have the PU and the tent at the same time ? The MOAT is humongous !

 birolBirol..I know EXACTLY what you re talking about. Everytime we go to the storage lot where we have to keep our PU we have to pass an older Coleman Mesa (no front storage trunk) and the poor thing is just pitiful looking. The rubber gaskets are hanging down all over, the propane tank is rusted, it s filthy....it does make me sad to see the poor thing sitting there rotting away.   Oh my gosh...first I became one of " those people who talk to their dogs" ...now I m empathizing with popups!  [:o].

 birolI know exactly what you mean.  I pass by a field with a popup sitting in the middle that has not been moved in 13 years except to mow the grass under it.  That has to be the lonliest popup in the whole wide world.[:(][:(][:(][:(][:(]

 Doesn t it just figure...you finally make the deal with Lee and Andrea for their pop up and then you start seeing PUs for sale all over--there was the one in the classified section here, and then the sad one for sale.
