RE: What to see at Niagara Falls?

tlhdocIf it is raining there is a commercial part of the town that has all of the crappy tourist attractions that children love.
If you are really good walkers all of the falls sights are within walking distance but the falls, the Maid and the cave are very close together. There are restaurants are also across the street from the falls.
We often go for 2-4 days after Christmas when they are having shows at the park near the falls and fireworks. Great, very cheap vacations that includes meals in the one of the two towers. Of course one year we had eight inches of snow and another year ice covered all ot the trees.

birolI want to thank everyone again for the help in planning this trip. I usually plan way ahead of time, but this one was a last minute trip.

Birol the campground is 1 1/2 to 2 hours away from the falls and we do want to spend time in the campground too, so yes we will only spend 1 day at the falls.

tlhdocWe took the scenic bus tour along the falls and river which was very nice. We got to see a lot of things and heard the history about which we never would have in a short time.

I am afraid of your immigration guys, this imm. guy , after a silence of 15 uncomfortable seconds, looking me in the eyes, fidgeting with our id s all this time, barks at me : " YOU ARE CARRYING MORE THAN 10,000 US DOLLARS" .

I go, with an amazed look on my face, hands opened up in front of me go " NO" . He gives the id s back says have a good day. Sheeesh, if I had 10,000 US with me, I would not be carrying a tent idiot I should have said !

I know, they are trying to do their jobs, but their tactics are sometimes scary. And he must have liked my DD & DS, he kept looking at their faces all the time. Oh well ... I have managed to kidnap them to a CG once again successfully and we all hada blast [

birolTammy we are leaving around 5PM on Thursday. I have to work that day[&:]. I will check my email before we leave. I am not sure what time we will get to the falls, but it will be in the morning. We could plan to meet somewhere at a certain time if that works for you.
