IIRC, at one time, there were plans to put all of the old board s posts into an archive of some sort.  Is that still in the works?  If so, do you have an ETA on when it will be added back to these boards?  If not, [:(]  There were some great posts on the old boards.

griffsmomIt s beens asked many times. I haven t seen an answer for a long time.

I don t really kno nuthing[&:], but my guess is........... it has been scrapped.

The task of sorting thru everything and removing all the nonsense stuff,
and putting it all in a form that could be used is probably not worth the time.

Besides much of it probably has been covered and is either on this forum,
or somebody saved it on their own website.

 Well that s my guess..............

I don t recall ever seeing an answer, that s why I was wondering.  There were some nice cg reviews that were really helpful and could help populate the review sections we have now.  Therre were some gems in the fix-it section too.

I sure hope it hasn t been scrapped, but I understand the time and space a project like that could take.  Does anyone know how feasible it is to place the old boards intact (so no one has to go through all the posts--that would take a long time!) into some sort of archive on a server that would allow us read-only access with perhaps a simple search function?

griffsmomLori, send Dave an Email for an answer. He s rather busy most of the time and he gets little time to read his own forums but he does do a good job reading & replying to his emails.
