FoxyladiesIf you use Internet Explorer, do the following. Click on Tools, then click on Internet Options. In the middle of the dialog box, you should see delete cookies.

MtnCamper

FoxyladiesIf you can read and post now, I wouldn t do it. You will have to re enter all of your sign in info on all the boards you are on. This is where all of your past views and passwords are stored.

I had this problem a while ago, and I did. Didn t help. Still couldn t read the posts. But I had to start all over, all over the net. Boy, am I glad I keep a spreadsheet with all my passwords on it.

FoxyladiesI agree with Mtncamper. The last time had this problem with the board I was told it was my cookies. So I cleared them all out. It did not fix the problems. I had to go to all my favorite sites and re-enter all types of info again.

I have had many problems with this message board. No posts, not being able to log in, can t see posts, pages not coming up etc.

I do not think cookies is the problem.

FoxyladiesIf you look right under steve s message you ll see a line of choices before the main forum body. The middle choice is " delete all cookies" .
This deletes any cookies the PUT has placed on your computer and doesn t delete " ALL"  the cookies on your computer.

FoxyladiesIf you use [link=http://www.safer-networking.org/" ]SPYBOT[/link] you can control the cookies easier. It lets you exclude any cookies you want to keep from being deleted  long as you use Spybot to remove the cookies.

birol

FoxyladiesPLease delete cookies from internet explorer Tools-internet options menu .......

And remember, don t do this unless you can t read the messgaes. So if you can read this you don t have to do it, so how useful is this

Foxyladiescrashed for me too now, no emoticons anymore ... and post screen stays white ...

FoxyladiesAccording to what I ve gotten from the folks at: http://www.aspplayground.net/default.asp  the makers of the forum software the trouble this time is mainly the " worm problem"  that s affecting a hugh number of servers. Somehow it causes the software to reset perameters needed to correctly get the data to write the screen while it s overloading the servers.

The problem got so bad here Tuesday that my cable system crashed not only the road runner cable connection but actually overloaded the entire cable network as well. My modem RD (receive light) was on constantly and both my digital cable and TV ready cable connections went down. Now that s using some heavy duty bandwidth.

FoxyladiesI know deleteing cookies is the standard answer, BUT, I fired up a computer, that hasn t run in a year. And it was the same way. I could see headers, but no posts. Now it s working again......
