As everyone has read in my previous posts, I am married to a non-camping husband. He will come to the cg once in awhile. With me being a seasonal, his visits are infrequent.

Helping me out with my problems with camping.....I have to give him a dozen of roses.

His latest project was trying to help me find a way so my knees and side of my leg wouldn t kill me when I had to step out of the pu.

After figuring out that the step down from the pu was too deep and too small in widith to allow you step down without twisting your knee alittle........

He made me a platform to step on. He realize that you really don t have room to step on the step. I know can now put one foot down and the other next to it before I step to the ground. We went to the cg tonight and he put it in place. Its made out of pressure treated wood and is two feet wide, nine inches high and the depth to step on is about 18 inches(instead of the maybe six). What a big difference especially going into the pu too. Without this platform, it got to the point that I was not looking forward to go camping because I knew my leg would be killing me. I ll
have to let you all know how I feel this monday....camping this weekend.....rain and all.
