We're still planning to camp tomorrow at North-South Lake (Catskills NY) with a couple other PUTers. Sure am glad we have the furnace. Am just trying to figure out how my son & I can catch the baseball game since we'll be dry camping.

When will summer be over?  We are supposed to get up to 90 today.  It's October for kriminey sakes, we should be able to have brisk nights, and cooler days.  My kids may have to go dressed as surfers for Halloween so the don't overheat!

I winterizied the camper about 3 weeks ago, I could have gone out at least twice more. Daytime temps around 80 and all the way to 40 at night. Of course where we usually go the campgrounds are all closed, so we would have to stay closer. But it would still be camping.
 
Last year we had a foot of snow Halloween week, and may again. But today doesn't look like it.

I agree with Startx.  We are supposed to break records the next 5 days.  I actually had to turn on the air conditioner the other day.  That is a biggy.  We only live 4 miles from the beach but they are predicting 90 degrees for the next 5 days.  Yuck.  Give us some cooler weather PLEASE!!!

BRING IT ON!!!! The camper is resting, waiting for Spring, The kayaks are nestled all snug in the barn, the skis, however, are just itchin' for snow!!! Time to get out and get Cross Country Sking!

We had snow here in MI a couple of weeks ago.  DH, DS and a friend had a cold snowy opener for deer bow season.    Then we got back into the 70's, and now cold again, but no snow.  who knows what will be next?!

Kinda looking forward to snow-all this dreariness is getting to me. Most of the leaves are down, the camper's put away for the year,-just think, in a few weeks, the Christmas sales will begin!:D

I plan on winterizing mine this weekend, but I am still hoping to get out again.  Just no on-board water.  At least with my new TV, I can haul around in the snow if I want.  Winter camping is a whole different animal.

We were over 100 today.  I hope it cools off into the 80's like they have been forcasting for the last several weeks. We won't be winterizing, too much campin' to do!!!!
