Lemon Laws

Who knows about these any why wouldn't/shouldn't this apply to campers?  I'm thinking in reference to the Coleman ABS problems specifically but also in the case of other faulty campers.

Lemon Laws vary stat by state, but most seem to exclude almost everything other than a standard passenger vehicle.

As to the why question, you would have to ask our elected officials why they excluded RVs from most statutes

Yes, I see that as far as I can tell all states define Motor vehicle as self propelled.  Some go as far as to exclude Motorhomes even though they are self propelled.  But my thought was why shouldn't there be the same kind of Lemon Laws for campers.  The must be registered just like cars!  Most cost more than many new cars and yet there is very little in the way of consumer protection.

Well, as PUT , we (or you USA'ers) could sperhead an initiative and talk to your representatives ! There are a lot of us to make a noise big enough about it ! What do you guys/gals say ?
