My son has been feverishly working on his christmas list now that the Sunday papers are putting in the big toy ad circulars!!  He's circling all his favorite things.  Right now he seems really into the GI Joe guys, there's one that is a snow ranger or something, so I'll have to go out and find it soon before it's gone.  My DD is now 14 and I'm at a loss as to what to get her this year...no more toys...guess it's clothes and accessories...maybe some new ice skates.

Lego's and video games at our house. :)

Grandson is into color Gameboy stuff and GD is collecting Barbis.  DS and DD are all grown up and into green stuff, especially with large numbers on it.:D

Yes, Like before... Shameless! ;)

(Ok... now I'm going to go check your stuff out!  Guess it worked!...... ok, I'm back... Diverse variety of items you have there, Birol!  I especially like your wording on Nintendo... "tested by our team"!  I'm betting DD and DS right? Good luck!)

We're past the toy thing (except iQuest and some Leap Frog stuff) and we don't do video games in our house, so there have been lots of DVD requests, books and DD wants snow shoes, since her brother got a nice set last year. DS is getting a digital camera- he's been fiddling with mine and takes some great shots. Lots of bicycling accessories, too.

Yes, DD and DS spend a lot of time testing the games, sometimes  a few days (few hours a day). Never had a complaint :) I care for my customers, one negative feedback and I am doomed. Except the newspapers, this is my bread and butter. Actaully makes barely enough to pay for the windstar. Otherwise we could not afford it ...

On the subject : DS & DD wants an X-Box or game cube ...... they have a nintendo 64 right now. But the games are so expensive for those new boxes, and so are the systems themselves ..... Sigh ...Good thing is, they both have their own computers, so I guess DD will get a SIMS vacation and son will get a role playing game ......

My 6YO DD wants a pet (cat, dog, fish, etc.). She'll get a new bike! ;)

Actually, for her 6th birthday last week, I got her a Pixter Color with Barbie software.  Very cute and she LOVES it.  I keep hearing that is the hot toy this year.

My 6YO DD LOVES Bratz dolls, Barbie dolls and Polly Pockets -- ANYTHING that has a MILLION pieces    (so my 1 year old can choke on them)! ;) I just LOVE birthdays and Christmas!   :D

I hope she wants a new DELL computer. I already have received it and set it up and my parents house. She is 10 and it will be very useful for her homework with the Encyclopedia and dictionary programs on it.

Probably put it on a wireless network if I ever get high speed access.

She WILL LOVE IT !!!! get her stuff like Sims, Zoo tycoon, and introduce her to neopets. Mine goes bananas for it .... She is 11.25 and is refusing to grow up :)

chasd60, your gift is up there on my DD's wish list, but I don't think this will be the year!  Right now she's using my laptop...but then again, it may be worth getting her own so I can get mine back!!!

Well, the Niece/9 & Nephew/13 (who live here with me) have also been letting me know in no uncertain terms what they want. I have to co-ordinate what I buy them against what their father get's them, as they tend to ask us both for the same things.

Nephew is easy, he wants EVERYTHING! Even if he's already got it, he wants a new one! I'll probably upgrade his Playstation for a PS2, and a couple of new games to go with it. That'll leave the new bike and a stereo for his Dad to figure out.

Niece is a little more difficult, she seems to want everything she see's too, but has not indicated anything totally specific, except for a "head" that she can learn make-up stuff on. She didn't seem too impressed when I asked why not learn on her own head? She is starting to mature a little though, I think the Barbie days are over! Hmmmm

Miller Tyme

Well, Tiffany wants anything Barbie, TJ wants anything Lego, Christopher wants anything electronic or vehicular(read-car/truck)

Linda would like better health next year, and I'd like more vacation time.:W

No more barbies for your niece, My DD stopped palying and liking with Barbie around 9 as well. Now I tease her, and try to drah ehr to the barbie Aisle when we are at Wall World, she won't go near them. They are childish  :p  Don't I know that already ? She might like jewelry making stuff, tons of them , or craft making stuff, again a lot of them. There are some bxoes with tons of colorful beads, they love those too. good luck with both of them  :W

I hope you have a padlock on your computer in case you are planning any surprises for them.  They could check in and see this thread and know what they're will be getting.:D
