Birol,

I'm a little late in posting this, but my thoughts have been with the people of your home country.

For those that don't know, 57 people were killed in Turkey, and al-qaida claimed responsibility. Yes, the bombings were at a British consulate and a London-based bank, but they also occurred at synagogues. That makes it more personal for the Turkish people.

Thanks Larry,

It is very tough for Turkish people to face terrorism once again .... Just when they thought The Kurd problem was on the way to being solved, record low inflation, after 20 years of very high inflation, economy getting back on track, these four explosions were a big shock to say the least.

As Turkish population is still like a mosaic, there are people who think USA (CIA) arranged the explosions to force them to be more on their side, and others who really see it for what it is, and those who want to go and invade Iraq and do some colleteral damage while there.

I hope they will stay focused on economic recovery, get rid of the fanatic islamic forces and tackle the issues they have, like Cyprus, joining EU and so on ....
