OH!  Well, I suppose that is why I could not find anything about deleting what is already in there.  Thank you for telling me.  You probably saved me some effort.  We bought the Topo maps and the Trip and Waypoint software came with the GPS but no one had the City Select in stock.  I ordered it over the net.  I won't get it for a few days.  I was going to load a few topo maps, thinking I would just load the City Select maps on top of them.  NOW I will wait and do them all at once.  Thank you for the information!  Obviously, I have a LOT to learn, but it should be fun.

Next Christmas we are going to Italy and DH and I would like to have the maps for Italy, but you have to buy all of Europe.  Pretty expensive when we are only interested in Rome and Sicily.  We will have to think about that for awhile.

Thank you for you help, as always, this board, and all of you, are GREAT!

Howdy All!

Yes, we have several GPS units.  I have the DeLoram unit that attaches to my laptop for navigating while on the road.  It even talks to me letting me know when to turn etc...

I also have an older Magellan that is attached to my mountain bike, and a new MAGELLAN Meridian with an additional 64 meg memory chip for storing stuff. I use the new one for GeoCaching.

We are members of the GeoCaching board, and enjoy the fun.

We like chasing GeoCaches.

It's been a while since this thread had any activity.  I'm wondering where everyone went.

My guess everybody is campin & cachin' if they know what's good for them. I know I have been.

Actually I will be at a camp & cache event next weekend HERE. I will be assisting in the seminar and the maping project.

And a couple of weeks ago we camped at Little Pine Creek SP and cached. See pic.
