With winter firmly entrenched (and fearing the worst is yet to come :( ) please allow me to suggest a great wintertime activity that we can all enjoy.

Post reviews of all the campgrounds you visited in 2005.  Some of the campground review sections are mighty slow, and we could add value to them by spouting (er, stating) our opinions.

Personally, I'm just itching for someone, somewhere to post a review about a campground in Minnesota.  I posted one before the latest software change, and there hasn't been anything since.

Don't forget the 2-letter state abbreviation in the subject so that it's easier to find reviews by state.

If you've posted reviews a long time ago, many of those dissapeared with the vBulliten software change, so you might want to update.

A couple of years ago, we camped from San Diego to Stevens Point, WI and back again.  We left in May and finished our trip in late July.  Coming back through Minn., along I-90, I think, we stopped one evening at a state park.  I have no idea where it was, but I know it was listed in the AAA camping book.  While I sat in the TV, DH went in to the office to pay the nominal fee.  I started to roll down my window to get some air, and the famous MN mosquitos chewed on my heartily!  I weighed my options.  Do I brave the hordes of little buggers and run in to tell DH to forget this place, or do I wimp out and just sit there?  Much to my shame, I sat there!!   Soon, DH came running out of the office, wallet firmly in his pocket.  THREE campers in front of him were waiting for their money back, because the mosquitoes had feasted on them!  DH is NOT a slow learner.  We made a fast U-turn, headed down the Interstate a couple hundred miles and stayed at a perfectly peaceful, bugless spot---the name of which I can't remember either!!  Hope this helps!
