Campgrounds Near Mystic, CT

My family is looking to get together at a campground near Mystic, CT for Memorial Day.  I need at least electric hook ups for my CPAP and two of us usually travel with our dogs.  Those two needs seem to knock most State Parks off of the list.  Two parks have caught my eye so far, Seaport Campground and Camp Niantic.  Anybody have any experiences with either of them or have another place to recommend?

Thanks in advance for your help.

We stayed at Seaport Campground over Columbus Day weekend several years ago.  Most of the sites were in a field with a limited tree cover.  We didn't mind this because the sun doesn't bake you in October, but it can in late May.

There were a few rows of seasonal campers that were segregated on one side near the office.  Strangely, the seasonal sites looked very small while the transient sites were more open.

The restrooms were very clean, but that may have been because, on Columnus Day, the transient sites were nearly vacant, and of course seasonal campers typically have their own facilities.

I seem to recall a small store, but no details.  There's a mini golf area, and a pool, but the pool wasn't open in October.  There's also a mud puddle that they called a fishing pond.

Other than that, it was quiet, no traffic noise, etc.

Hope this helps...

Austin,

Thanks for the reply.  I have contacted Seaport for their availibility for Memorial Day weekend.  Hopefully I am not too late.

Thanks,
