Now That's Funny.........
Kids today?

With that many goobers standing around, they could have pushed it onto the driveway... like we used to do.

That crunch should have been a good warning.

Those with kids, careful not to crank up the volume on the movie.  It does have some languange you might find offensive.  The video itself is great for everyone to watch, especially kids just getting into driving!

My thoughts were:

1.  Why didn't they just push it forward?

2.  Why didn't they shovel the pile of snow behind the car out of the way?

Afterward I thought what did they have it hooked to?

 :D

What type of car is it, it looks like it would make one heck of a tow vehicle. :J

Very amusing, I got the distinct impression that, this was a setup. They rpobably wanted to junk the car for a reason or something. Or, they are very stupid kids.

This is yet another perfect example of why we no longer live in....

The SNOW ZONE!!!!

Hmmm....when I clicked on the link, I got "page cannot be found". Is it still there, or is it my browser?

The car to avoid buying.  Well, I bet that cost a pretty penny to repair!

Cindy, don't rub it in.  We just stay inside when the weather is bad.  It amounts to a vacation form work.  Luckily we only have about 2 or 3 days of it and it melts.

When I tried to email that link so some friends could get a laugh, the link doesn't work.  Any ideas on what to do?  Also, when I paste it into my browser, it didn't work.  It only works directly from the post above.

Here is the only place that I have found that has the file.

I first saw this video on my Ford truck forum about 3 days ago. I just went and checked, and the links(all of them) have been removed, as they exceeded the contributor's bandwidth. He has had over 100k hits on it, and as he is a college student, he had to pull the link out. However, for a $.50 donation, if he pays off his charges for the month, he will re-post the link.

For those who missed it, a Geo Storm was stuck in a driveway. He had backed from the clear side of the driveway into a snowbank on the other side of the double-wide driveway. So he had a buddy with a 2wheel drive Toyota try to pull him out. The car got hung up on something, so the guy in the truck just punched it. The entire rear valance of the car(bumper, taillights, etc.) gets ripped off and dragged about 50 ft. Seems they had the tow rope hooked to the bumper piston, not the axle or the frame.:J

The problem is many newer cars don't have a frame.  They are unibody construction.  He connected to the bumper shock mount, which isn't structural.  The first CRUNCH should have been a major warning!

He also attached to the wrong side, so the car was pulled further into the snow bank.  The front of the car has a "front clip" type structure.  Should have connected to the front of the car, and pulled it onto the cleared driveway.

For those that missed it, the video had a horrible crunching plastic sound as the back of the car was ripped off from one corner to the other.      :D

I did download it to my computer.  The file is 14MB.  No, I won't be putting it on my website either!  I'm limited to a maximum of 5MB files unless I want to pay more.  I can e-mail it to anyone that has a fast ISP.  I have a cable modem, so it doesn't take long on my end.

In the famous words of Homer Simpson, doh!

I'm glad I saw it before it got jerked....the link I mean.  LOL.
