I'm new to the WY area. I was wondering if anyone knew what the suggestive wind tolerance was for popups. Seems like every nice weekend the winds are around 20mph with gust in the 30's. We have modified the main roof of the popup to help with the swaying of the top. But we don't like taking chances of riping the canvus. I have gone to the Starcraft website, but of course they don't list anything. Any help would be nice.

Dana, welcome to the Rocky Mtns windy front!  I don't have the info you are looking for, other than to say that we frequently (like most of the time) have the same winds you are talking about.  We generally try to camp up in the trees which helps cut the wind, and also, if it's really windy we put the awning away.  I've heard other people say that they just tie their awnings down better with extra rope, but I haven't tried that yet.  We've never had a problem with ripped canvas to date.  Perhaps you should call a Starcraft dealer to see if they have that info since it's not on their website?  Good luck!
