I came down with a nasty inner ear infection. Barely made it home from work. Am dizzy (than usual), have literally been bouncing off walls for 2 days, so I knew that there was something wrong.  No driving, do not trust my self to try to pull the camper to Lums Pond (DE SP) or anywhere right now.

Was going to send Raymond with the popup to retrieve the grandkids, but Jeffrey threw one of his fits and told Raymond that he would not go unless Raymond took the big camper. Raymond is afraid that the little'uns will tear up something in there (and there is a lot ofsomethings). Raymond has no clue how either camper goes together.

The popup is loaded and he is considering taking it and going to Point Lookout for tonight so the kids can have a camp fire. My big tent is also in the minivan, so there is the option of more room for the gang, in case the other daughter and child comes along.  I did give himstep-by-step instructions.

Paula, sorry to hear about the ear. Louise informed us on Friday morning shortly after you called her. We wound up forfeiting your two site's, which would have been next to Photospread's and basically across from the rest rooms.

It wasn't until 9pm this evening did we find out 2 more showed up, they were on the list, but hadn't provided reservation numbers and subsequently Louise was never alble to track them....they both wound up on the other side of the campground. One of them will get to move to one of the site's you were suppose to have sometime tomorrow after it vacate's...

Hoosier played host to the group for the campfire this evening. Both his family and Budman showed up at the same time, and unlike Westmoreland, they wound up in the right loop this time!

Weather has been great so far! Maybe some rain on Saturday night & Sunday morning, but this wouldn't be a real camping trip without some rain!!!

Get well, perhaps we'll see you at the Westmoreland gig in September (Louise says she talked you into transferring your reservations to that one instead)....

We are looking at the 4th of July weekend at Westmoreland. We do not know where Donna is going to be in the fall. She may be in California (doubtful), possibly still in MD or maybe around Wilmington NC.

The kids (not Jeffrey) were disappointed.  Raymond almost went to IN,but then weather looked as bad out there.  Monday we rushed to Philly after a stop to AAA to get passport photos. I again opted to stay home, but did the driving to Philly for passports. Boy have they gone up. Raymond paid an extra $60.00 each for him and Jeffrey to get expedited service, we picked up theirs later that afternoon (i opted to have mine mailed and saved the extra $60.00, since I was not planning on traveling). Raymond and Jeffrey went to Dover, but the only plane taking passengers was full...all that money ($275 for the 2 passports) and they did not get out. He decided not to try again the next day.  So it has been a do nothing week.

Raymond did ask me about 5:00 PM Friday if I wanted to go camping...yeah right... 5:00 PM Friday night and the first good weekend of the year!!! I had a good laugh, beach traffic was to be awful...

Did see Return of the King...3 times this last week, so all was not lost...I would camp with Viggo any time he seems to be quite outdoorsman.  Psst, we just won't tell Raymond..oh yes, don't tell Viggo either if you happen to see him...I do not think he would quite understand...

Paula,

Westmoreland for the 4th of July sounds wonderful....wish I could get out of work that weekend to join you!  The kids are dying to try out the beachside pool there.

Hope you can join us in September - and feel free to store a camper whenever necessary!
