We made it home in about 45 minutes without any problems.  I had a great time with all of you and can't wait to do it again next year, or any time again.  Sorry I didn't get to say goodbye to all, but needed to get out while I could.  Darn rain.  I have to set that camper up to dry out, oh well.  Again, thanks to everyone, my family and I had a great weekend.  :D

We got back just a while ago.  Camper already popped and drying out. Kershner is trying to get the yard mowed before it rains again.  Had a great time even though we weren't feeling the best.  Always nice seeing old friends again and meeting new ones. We'll probably see some of you again at Drummer Boy.

Back home on the mountain.  Of course it's not raining now.  Great times, great friends and great food,  so a little rain can't ruin the memories.

After packing up we did another rendition of the "Lazy Camper Buffet" and had a warm bite to eat  before leaving.  Their Apple Turnover and Ice Cream is to die for.  It will be back on the diet now.

Hoping to see you all again soon and sorry we can't make North-South Lake.

We ARE ready for another group gathering at this campground next spring.

Hey all!

We're home safe...  took a little bit longer than usual, we went slow and hit rain most of the way.  We stopped at a Wal-Mart somewhere in PA and did our weekend shopping.  Thanks to all for a great time!  See some of you soon at North Lake.  :D

We made it home too.  I was stressed to the max on this trip :eyecrazy:  :eyecrazy:  :eyecrazy:  :eyecrazy:  :eyecrazy: , worrying about the tire and lift system.  On the trip home I stopped several times and checked the questionable wheel.  No problems and my broken down PU is at the dealer's lot.

I want to thank everyone for the help you gave me, and in the rain no less. :yikes:  :yikes:  :yikes:  :yikes:  :yikes:   If I was going to have a problem on a trip, it was good to have friends like you along to help.

Sorry about all the eyes, but I was really stressed out this weekend.

I think you deserved to be stressed out - I couldn't of slept in your camper with the roof like that.  Then that tire - how did the spare fare on the trip to the dealer?

Glad everything else worked out and many many thanks for organizing the event this past weekend.  See you next time.  K.

The spare tire didn't seem any worse for wear after towing the trailer 100+ miles home and too the dealer.  I am going to email a couple of pic of the tire to Duro and see what they think of it.  I was very glad to unhitch. :eyecrazy:

Yes it is.  I will have to see if it will be repaired by the 7th for our next COTOC trip.

PS you missed a fun trip. :)

Tracy, What happened to your wheel and your lift system ?

Is this due to the new roof ?

Tire- :eyecrazy: No one seems to be sure but one of my new tires is all chewed up.  The edges of the tread are ok, but the whole center is bad.

Lift-It has been very hard to crank, since I had the new roof installed.  I think a pulley broke :yikes: , but I don't know yet.  It cranked much easier once what ever it was broke.

So I hope the PU is road ready for the next trip.

Has anyone heard from Luther and Leslie, Andy or Mike?  I am just wondering if they made it home OK.

BARDENL

Sorry to be late checking in.  We made it fine, but first we went to Cabella's.  What an amazing place.  I love exhibits of things people shot, and they were as good as a museum.  I only saw one Boone and Crockett trophy though, and it had a high number.  Has anyone else been to the Buckhorn Hall of Horns in San Antonio?  We bought a few small things.

Having hit miserable jams around Harrisburg coming up, I plotted a course to avoid freeway jams and busy roads with lots of businesses, stop lights, etc.  We came down through Lancaster county via a route (351?) that turned at every village and the edges of some fields.  We saw dozens of Amish carriages drawn by one or two horses, several small schoolhouses, etc.  We picked up the superslab just above Baltimore and scooted on home.
