Well we are almost at the end

The second visit on the homestudy went great, all the paperwork is turned in, and we just have to wait until the 30 day advertisement for the unknown birth father (she knows who, but will not tell).  The ad ends May 6th, so by the middle of May the adoption should be finalized.  Boy after waiting 3 years to get this done, it sure went fast.  Plus some other great news is that they may not charge us the entire fee, because they used the homestudy from our 2nd DD who has the same birth mother, and are just amending it.

I agree!  I am so happy you are almost done.  Please post lots of picture of your new family when you are done!  You other daughter is so beautiful, and it's wonderful they have such a special connection together.  Godspeed! :#

Only 7 days to go !

Thanks everyone.  I will try to post pictures, sometimes I slow at getting things done.  This is the last two weeks of spring semester at college and final exams are driving me crazy, but a break is in sight.  We would really like to go camping, but with only one week between spring and summer semester for me and the girls will still be in school.  Hope we get to take a short weekend trip to our favorite close CG, Dan Nicholas park.  The girls really love it there.

I really do appreciate all of your support.  Although we have been through it twice before, it is still stressful and reading your replies have helped alot.  

LoadedCamera, have a great trip and posts pictures so I can do virtual camping (just kidding).  Hope all is going well with the new camper.

I will let you know more as we find out more, but it's time to study for tomorrow's exam again before bed.  Thanks everyone!
