I received this is a recipe from a site called "Family Time Recipes" (www.familytime.com).  I'm on their mail list and get recipies almost daily.

Campbell's Beef Taco Bake

Prep. time:  10 minutes
Cooking time:  30 minutes
Serves:  4
Author:  Campbell's Kitchen

Ingredients:

1 lb. ground beef
1 can (10 3/4 oz.) Campbell's Tomato Soup
1 cup Pace Chunky Salsa OR Picante Sauce
1/2 cup milk
6 (8") flour tortillas OR 8 (6") corn tortillas, cut into 1" pieces
1 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese

Directions:

Cook beef in a skillet until browned.  Pour off fat.

Add soup, salsa, milk, tortillas and half the cheese.  Spoon into 2-qt. shallow baking dish (I used an 8" x 8" square glass dish).  COVER

Bake at 400 for 30 minutes or until hot.  Sprinkle with remaining cheese.

Tips:  Serve with whole kernal corn.  For dessert serve vanilla pudding.

NOTE:  When I made this last night I thought I had a can of tomato soup on my shelf, but didn't, so I used and 8 oz. can of tomato sauce.  It worked well and the dish tasted like Enchiladas.  I also used the Corn Tortillas.  I'll have to make it again using the tomato soup as directed.   Sal is very picky about food and he liked this one.

I made this recipe again this weekend using the tomato soup as the recipe calles for. It tasted sweeter and was a bit more runny. We decided that we liked it better using the tomato sauce like I did the first time when I didn't have the tomato soup. It tasted more like enchilladas.
