Does anyone have any experience with storing/transporting the 9 x 12 weatherproof mats sold in the Arvee Store? I would like to know how large in diameter is the rug when rolled along the short side or what the dimensions are when you fold it into a square? Can you then put it into an LL Bean bag? I understand they are being restocked by the Arvee Store because of popular demand.

We just keep ours in the plastic bag that PUT sent it in.  I think it folds up to about 3' x 1.5'  It is an absolutely great purchase--we have loved ours from the very first time we used it.  We bought it about a year and a half ago and try go camping at leat once a month (we camp year-round here in So Cal).  If it ever wears out, we'd buy another one in a heartbeat.

HTH! :sombraro:

Due to the construction, they really don't "roll" very well.  The do fold up into a very compact flat package.

If mine is clean I just set it inside the PU on the floor.  If it is not clean I just put it in a large trash bag. :)

Ummmm, I just roll mine up, and bungee it to the rear bumper. I do have one of those 4" square bumpers on the Hybrid so perhaps that makes a difference...

Did your plastic patio mat come rolled up or folded?

We absolutely love our mat and I would buy another one in a heartbeat:).  The mats are sewn in three parts so we fold the even 3 parts into their 1/3 equal lengths then roll the matt up.  It's like Tim said it really doesn't roll up but folds very easily, & we place it into a side compartment on our Jayco.
Our last adventure it rained for 1 week before we got to the CG & then we were camping there for 4 days.  we used the mat to at least keep some of the mud down from getting into the camper.  B4 we left the CG we washed the mat off in a nearby creek & it cleaned up beautifully then placed it into the camper.
Of course all the TV's had to be pulled out of the mud w/ large JD tractors.

We may be talking about two different things, mine is an el'cheapo astro-turf mat, and it came rolled up when new. It flattens right out every time...

We have two...a small one and a large one.  They just fold up and we slide them into the PU as the last thing to go in before the top comes down.

We have the front storage box on our trailer and the mat goes in last, on top of the chairs, etc.  Because it fold relatively flat and is flexible, it's not a problem for it to settle between bumps and grooves.

Everytime we camp, someone asks us about our mat.  Ours isn't from the PUT store, but it's the same material.  They do clean up really easily and keep the dust down.
