Not camping this weekend

No, this weekend will be spent as a "girls weekend" by me and my DS and 2 good friends.  DH will get a break and get to stay home with Lil Spanky and have complete control over the remote.   We girls have decided that instead of taking one long trip this summer, (last year we spent a week in Colonial Williamsburg and Virginia Beach) we will do several short trips, and stay closer to home.  Michigan has lots to offer, why travel all over the country?  Anyway, none of us has been to Greenfield Village for years, so we are going to do that this weekend, also take in the opening of a new exhibit at the Ford Museum on Disco.  Yes, you got that right, Disco, as in Saturday Night Fever, etc.   There is suppose to be a party at the museum on Sat. night (when else) with local Detroit DJ's to kick off the exhibit.  Now, what did I do with those old bell bottoms?

Have a great time, but did you post DS by mistake??? Or is it a girls weekend with boys??

I was  hoping DS meant sister...and not son.  LOL

yup, I meant Dear Sister.  Son wouldn't have any fun at all with this bunch of 'girls'.  He's 27, would want to hit the clubs, not the museums, LOL.

I keep threatening (DH) that I'm going to take the "girls" in the neighborhood all camping some time... I think I just need to pick a date and DO IT!
