Yesterday at 8:15 I got a phone call on my cell phone for my son. He was told that he made the Air Cadet camp for this eyar and was to report tomorrow (Today). So we drove him to Trenton (1.5 hours drive) and gave him to the air force personnel for the enxt three weeks. That means he won't make it to the rally

My friend is gone booohooooooooooo, oh well, DD will have to be a better friend now

With so much stuff to do and all the plans we had to get them done with him, now I am like a lost fish  ....

Well, I am a sad proud father ! proud that he made it in, sad that he won't be making it the eastern rally.  It will be different with just DD and me ....Not that I mind it., but I will have to find different activities to keep her happy

What an awesome opportunity for him though!  He must have been so excited!  It is a bummer he won't make it to the Rally, but this can be a really special time with your daughter.  For the rest of your life you will hear, " Dad, remember when we went on that trip to PA for the first time with the camper?"   You are going to be making one of her BEST memories next week!  Lucky girl! Your a good Dad Birol.  Don't underestimate how important you are in her eyes.  All men in her life will be held up and compared to you until one actually meets her expectations!  Then she'll marry him!
