Same thing here, leaving Friday at 4:30 and will be back Monday around 2PM.
 Taking DD and 7 of her friends with us for her birthday party all weekend. Was 9 of her friends initially but 2 can't make it. We reserved 2 sites, one for the camper DW and I with the dogs. The other for DD, the tent and her 7 friends. Should be interesting with 8 girls between 9-12 years old!!
 
 She turned 11 today and was quite impressed that dad had flowers sent to her school (2nd day of school today and she is now in MIDDLE School).

What a nice thing to do ! A sleep over camping they will love it ! Little bit too many monsters but at that age they should be manageable !

Yep, we're ready to go. I fired up the refridge in the trailer around 2pm today, did the grocery shopping this evening, loaded it all into the trailer. Kids went school clothes shopping this evening. Gas tank topped off, clothes are packed, trailer is at work place so I'll hook-up on arrival in the morning, leaving work around 2pm, swing by the house and get the kids, bikes, and last minute stuff and we're on our way.
 
Now for some Voo-Doo...

We're waiting until after Labor Day.  Thursday we head for the Outer Banks and Ocean Waves for almost a week.

Hopefully, Frances will STAY AWAY to the west like NOAA says she will.

wow, we had a great weekend, NO RAIN!!!!! thats a first , it was cool in the evening, so the campfires were even better, and the kids had a great time with their smore's and hot coco. we had hot apple cider,

We did entirely too much "laboring" and not enough enjoying....we spent it painting, redoing bathrooms, taking down old paneling, sorting through junk to pack away or to store.....my poor little popup must think we're lost. I just want to find it a new place to live.  I'm tired...I need a vacation...and there's still soooooo much to do....

Had a great weekend 4 days of perfect weather, no rain and lots of sun.

Met up with
geneF,bearbait,forestcreature,and a friend of mine at at State Park here in Mi.
GeneF and forestcreatrure left early monday and were heading to the UP of Mi. to do some dry camping and site seeing.
