We had to take our camper to the storage lot.:(  It was so nice having it parked in our driveway for the past week. We've been busy putting in the shelf liner and figuring out where everything goes. We've also tested out the appliances for longer periods of time than what we did at the dealer walkthru. Cookies come out just right:D .

It will be a couple of weeks before we bring 'The Nest' back to our house. I imagine that we will drive by every now and then to make sure that it is still OK. We put a hitch lock on and took the battery home. I'm wondering if we should have taken the ABS propane cover off too.

Never thought that we would have separation anxiety with a camper. :%

We are now thinking about getting one of those wheel locks to keep our baby secure. Does anyone have any experience with one of those?

No, I don't have any experience with them, but your local meter maid or traffic cop just might! :D

Congrats on the Jay Feather. There are a couple of new Jay Feathers in the TPUC group, and they are nice! I wasn't a huge Jayco fan until I saw the new Jay Feather hybrids at the Louisville RV show in February! They seem to be well-put together!

Enjoy!

Seperation anxiety??

Yes I have that too, and will only let Raymond tow it home/with me following (actually, whether towing or not I almost always get home before he does... But I do not let my baby far fron my site. I will not let him take it out with out me, that is what the 1006 popup is in the yard for...

I can see how you would get anxiety....thank God we on the west coast can camp year round so it is minimized for us, but we do experience a little.

I get Nervous when we put the Camper away...because...I don't know the people that store it and keep it there and I don't really trust them

We just took our new camper to the stoage lot too, homecrew.  We have a Jayco Jay Feather 27p that I have kept at home since we picked it up on December 9th.  It was fun having it to work in as we prepared for camping.  We spent several nights in it and we also made cookies with our children to test out the oven.

I still have a lot to do to get it ready for camping, but it will be fun doing it a little along the way this winter.

Enjoy your camper!!!

Where did you buy your new camper?

homecrew

Gotta love testing the oven out with a batch of cookies:D

We checked on our 'Nest' over Christmas and all is doing well. The temperature in NC this weekend sure looks inviting. We may need to flush the anti-freeze and go to the local campground this weekend. :-()

NC Sunshine, we purchased 'The Nest' at Terrells Camping Center which is in Terrell (go figure) about a half hour or so north of Charlotte. We had looked at many different brands and decided that Jayco had what we wanted and we liked what we saw at the dealership.
