We are finally going camping for the weekend in our new Jay Feather. We were able to sneak out for an overnight a couple of weeks ago and now will be able to go for the whole weekend. So it is our second trip out. We still have to stay close to home and travel on FLAT land until we are able to get a stronger TV. Cane Creek here we come. :-()

good for you! remember the less weight you carry the better for your TV, and farther you can travel, so don't bring that keg with you, buy it when you get there!:p

So?  How was it?  Any problems?  Inquiring minds want to know!  LOL

We are back from our first 'real' weekend out with the new camper and everything went well. One of the things that we discovered was that we need to make sure that we are level side to side. We weren't exactly level and the water from the shower dripped out of the tub and puddled on the florr by the wall. By the way, having your own shower is really nice. I was worried about the size of the corner shower but found that it really wasn't bad. I'm still thinkin of replacing the track in the ceiling and move it out about two inches. That will provide some extra elbow room. We are still moving things around to see where they work the best. The snaps will need some lubricant (chapstick) to make them a little easier to snap. We will also be investing in some bunk end covers. It's a little more of a challenge to clean off all of the debris on the bunk ends, since you can't push the beds in or pop down to get at the top half of the tenting. I'm not too concerned yet. We have some time on these. We had a couple of small holes in both ends that we noticed during the walkthru and that the dealer has requested replacements for from Jayco. We can't wait for the next outing.
