I know this question has been answered many times here but I can't find the right thread so I'll ask again. We have a 99 Starcrcraft Meteor that has a door problem. Since we've had it(2.5years,2nd owners) the top half of the door shifts greatly side to side at the halves and the hinges shift up when you open and close the door. The clamps that were mounted on the bottom half of the door that were supposed to connect to the top half half were broken off even before we got it. Now it seems that the door will not fit into the slotted openings correctly and it seems crooked(for lack of a better word).Could this be a cable lift problem? When we closed it up today the top did not come down as far as it should have and we had to push it down at all the corners to latch. Is there a simple way to adjust the cables? DH is a mechanic and not afraid of grease so hopefully you can help me out here. We want to get this ready to sell (we are moving to a hybrid hopefully soon (OH NO!!!) and I wouldn't want to sell it when I know there is a problem.

got it fixed today, seemed to be mostly a cable problem, we got all four corners even and tightened the inside small cable as well. Door works better than it ever has and it hatches down tighter and even too. Killed two birds with one stone.
BTW,Starcraft was very speedy with their info. I faxed them last nite for info and they sent me 9 pages of instructions for cable adjustment along with part numbers in case we had to replace anything. I'm impressed!
