Do let us know how it is.  It got awful reviews, but I always like to know what the general public thinks.

:frosty: OK, I just returned from the cinema.  The film was good, but not a classic or something I would see again next Christmas.  If you have read the book before you see the film, you will notice some libertys that were taken.  Grisham's version is much more fun, despite that It was definately funny and worth the time to see.   :frosty:

:frosty: Tim Allen was a great Luther and Jamie Lee Curtis was an OK Nora, however, she was a bit over the top in her playing of the stressed out mom.  There were some continuity issues in the final edit, but overall not too bad.  Akryoyd was great in his role and Cheech Marin was the perfect cop. :frosty:

:frosty:  :frosty: So, go see it and have a good holiday laugh. :frosty:  :frosty:

Until next time-see you at the movies! :p

G read Grisham's book...she laughed until she was teary.

Probably won't see the movie.

I thought the same thing. :eyecrazy:

We saw the movie yesterday and I thought it was hysterical, especially the "Botox" scene.  DD thought it was OK and I guess that's a big comliment from a teenager.  Younger kids probably would be bored, though.

It's a good story with a GOOD message.

Did any of you see "Ray" yet?  How was it?

Happy Thanksgiving!

We were talking about this yesterday, the Botox scene was the funniest.  It was a fun movie all around with a nice message.  AND PLEASE--do not make a decision to go or not based upon my humble rantings.   :frosty:

CampNfan

The Botox Scene was funny. I thought there where a few funny scenes...How about the Tanning place at the Mall? It was pretty entertaining for me.

campincrew

YEAH!  The tanning scene was good.  It was especially funny when you think that it appeared that the entire church was there looking at her in a too small bikini and that the priest seemed to be checking her out. :frosty:  :frosty:
