I was there when it was cool boards! I think I joined in January 2001.  I check the board every day but don't post often. I have learned a great deal from all the folks on all the PUT boards no matter the architecture. This board is such an improvement over the other two. There are no lockups just smooth sailing!

I think we all would like to see this board get back to a point where there are more posts.  I NEVER want it to get back to the way it was right before it went to a pay site.   What a miserable time.:compumad: :eyecrazy:

Thanks to Dave and the moderators for providing this board.  It is a great deal at $5 a year, and now it is free again!:)

I can't remember what it was other than PUT when I first found the site by doing searches. Had just gotten the Popup bug really badly but neither of our fairly new vehicles at that time could tow anything. I lurked for a while on the free boards learning all I could but dropped it when it went to a pay board. We had to wait a while before we could buy both a TV and a popup but we joined PUT as paying members the same week we bought our PU!

Hi all :  It's good to be back.  Yes I think the last time I posted it was the coolboard.  I see some of the originals are still here.  I don't know if any of you remmember me, but I moved to the dark side (travel trailer), right before the pop up times Tennisee trip. I also had my pic in the magazine.

I remember coolboards, thats where it started for me too. PUT's on coolboard was the first message board I had ever visited. Started learning about pu's there in 1999 (after we brought our rockwood home)

I remember the stomach pains from laughing so hard reading posts from flyfisherman, KenC, WahoonC, byrd1, and more.

That's where it all started. SEPUC, FPUC, GLPUC, etc. Boy those were great times.
