I am a newbie and need some help. I just got a 99' Cheyenne and put it up at the house. When I pluged it in the electrical plugs worked just fine as did the a/c but the lights did not. They are 12 volt bulbs and the pu does not have a battery(or a place for one).
Should the lights work? If so what do I need to do next ? I bought the pu from a owner not a dealer and am very happy with the pu so I would like the fix it myself.
Thanks for any help
Richard

Often this is a very simple problem to fix.  Check the rear left (road side) of the PU, where the bunkend tenting and the main box tenting meet.  Under the flap for the zipper the 12 volt wires run to the roof.  There is a connector there.  Unplug and plug it back in.  If that doesn't work the next thing to look at are the fuses.  The face of the power converter pulls off to gain access to the fuses.  The third thing to check is the 12 volt power cut off switch located on the galley.  It is the switch that is depressed when the galley is set up.  If the galley isn't set up you will not have 12 volt power.  The switch could have gone bad or the wires could be loose.  I doubt that all 4 light bulbs went bad.  Good luck and let us know how you make out. :)
